Job Overview:As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's vehicle fleet, ensuring optimal performance, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Fleet Maintenance:Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for the entire vehicle fleet.
Schedule and coordinate regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations for all fleet vehicles.
- Vehicle Acquisition and Disposal:Manage the acquisition of new vehicles, considering factors such as cost, fuel efficiency, and operational requirements.
Coordinate the disposal or sale of aging or obsolete fleet vehicles.
Negotiate with suppliers and dealerships to secure favorable terms for vehicle purchases.
- Driver Management:Supervise and train drivers on safety procedures, fuel efficiency, and compliance with traffic regulations.
Monitor driver performance, conduct performance evaluations, and implement improvement plans.
Address driver concerns, conflicts, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Fuel Management:Implement strategies to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce fuel costs.
Monitor fuel consumption, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement.
Negotiate fuel contracts and manage relationships with fuel providers.

- Emergency Response Planning:Develop and implement contingency plans for emergency situations, such as accidents or breakdowns.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
